Amazing what you can achieve when you play your best players in their best positions, wonder why the manager never though of that before, when it really mattered!!!!

I missed the match today.  (I guess I was in another universe, you could say....)

So I'm more than thrilled that Forest got the win and blew Boro' (a play off chasing team) away.  I can live with missing all of Forest's games if they win 'without me.' ;)

A vindication for having patience for Reds Legend MoN and you never know, this might happen more often.

As for best players in best positions.  This is Aitor's team built to play Aitor's way.  Not many on here would have come up with the '3' at the back line up today and seen Car and Lolley as they were.  Martin put out an innovative line up with an imagination teasing formation.

It's taken Martin O'Neill perhaps longer than he would have liked to have found a '90 minute' side out of 'that lot.'  (I don't recall one single 90 minute performance out of Aitor's time here...and he had a year...and MoN's had, what?  15 games?  Barely over a 1/4 of a season?)  

But when you have 44 players who aren't yours and you're not only got to watch them in match conditions...but find the winning combination of those 44 players in match condition then it was only a matter of time he would find a combination....that suits how he wants his team to play.

When it mattered?  It takes the time it does.  Had MoN been brought in during late November when Aitor's wagon was losing his wheels?  Then we may have had a late play off charge.

Time.  MoN's side playing some breathtaking stuff from what I could see from the highlights.  And Milo's goal?
