Maybe Pap. It just pees me off we end up with John Victor because we can’t or won’t do business with our own sister club. Is this bloke better than Victor? I don’t know but suspect he is.
I know Sniffer has tried to explain the logic before and I appreciate that but Im still baffled.
To be fair, we've only had a look at Victor over half a dozen games or so so it's probably unfair to judge him yet. And this Oly keeper might not fancy sitting on our bench as an understudy.
But in wider terms I'm getting the impression that EM is under pressure to act in a way that demonstrates to UEFA that the two clubs don't operate as a linked multi-club. As such transfer and loan fees between the clubs might need to have fair market valuations, and we might be just not wanting to expend our psr allowance on this keeper. We also have limited squad places available so any player incoming from Oly invariably comes at the cost of another signing not being possible.
