I found Dyche's message a bit gawling the more I heard it. It was like he was telling us fans what was required to be a club in the prem. We know that, we didn't need him coming in and telling us like we're a Milwall type club getting promoted for the first time. I think that's what really rubbed with the Everton fans too before he left there. One Evertonian I was debating with once pointed this out to me. He said they were a big club in a spot of trouble, not a small club desperately clinging on and Dyche was constantly talking them down and coming out with small club mentality stuff. I didn't believe it at the time but now I do. I understand exactly what he was saying now.
