Hard to disagree with the above article really. Results were decent for the most part before even if players weren’t convinced by Dyches methods. After the Wrexham game we were abject from then on.

As for Edu, hopefully this is just a retrospective discussion for the summer. Results and performance have certainly improved with Vitor, im not surprised there is much hard work and analysis behind the friendly smiles. But is it coincidence that Edu was removed from the scene around the same time? Theres not much case for bringing him back IMO.

Its hardly inspirational genius to target younger players with resale value. But that can bring its own problems, we have ground out this season 90% with the team from last season. The ultimate example of it going wrong is the team we have just thumped 0-3. Discuss specifics later but end on a positive, Dilane Bakwa after the Braga game I was convinced was Diakhaby v2. Bit early to say he is a world beater but Vitor has 100% got some useful contributions from him and it was wonderful to see him turning Cucurella (a player I despise) inside out on Sunday. Hope he can keep it up.

I'm certainly much more comfortable with this as an explanation for the drop off rather that the usual tripe. 

In terms of the summer signings, i'm not getting giddy off the back of 2 good games from Bakwa all season. If he can back it up with the assistance of this coaching team then we will of course all be delighted its not £35m wasted. Same goes for NDoye, McAtee etc. 

It also doesnt address the significant disruptive influence the appointment was and the lack of providing any real cover at full back or in goal.

Agree about Bakwa. He had a good start against Cucurella but the Spaniard soon got to grips with him I thought. And I thought Abbott was left exposed a lot against their young winger who went off with the head injury. So I'll remain cautiously optimistic, but only that. 

But as this is strictly the Vitor only thread, I'll say that both Bakwa and Hutchinson have clearly been coached a lot in the last few weeks with both now prepared to take the full back on on the outside rather than continually taking the safe option and cutting in.
