Find it a bit odd that no blame ever seems to be pinned on Postecoglou who seemed to confuse everyone. Nuno obviously didn’t help matters but the players reaction to him after the West Ham game told me there were no hard feelings.
Im not going to compare Vitor with others until the end of the season but the signs are positive, I like how he adapts strategy within the game, something Dyche never did and the players seem to be responding to him for now although hard to say who’s game has improved individually. Well Jair Cunha obviously I suppose.
Thought Omari did reasonably well under Dyche but he has blown a bit hot and cold all season. A lot of hope pinned on him now with CHO out. Sorry but yes I have given up on Ndoye and Bakwa for anything other than a few minutes off the bench.
Nuno's issue was probably with Edu rather than Omari. I reckon there will have been a list of potential wingers prepared, Nuno will have selected his preference, choice A, choice B etc and then Omari turns up who was probably bottom of his list. Traore will have been choice A and Nuno will have known he was available at a snip. The same probably happened with McAtee and a number of the other signings, Nuno's opinion being overruleds by Edu who thinks he knows better that a coach who almost delivered CL football to the club.
This very same thing might also happen next season with Vitor. I gather Wolves sold all their talent from under his feet and it went downhill soon after.
