How would Dyche have gotten a tune out of players who no longer wanted to play for him?
Vitor is not winning PL games but that doesn't change the fact that Dyche would also have got us relegated.
Dyche lost the players and he lost the majority of the fans too.
There is no coming back from that.
I understand that one or two on here are friends with Dyche's assistants etc and want to defend them but lets not show blind loyalty and be blinkered.
The bloke was a terrible appointment and he was rightfully sacked.
I wouldn’t be quite as harsh on Dyche as you, but I agree he was probably taking us down.
Whilst yesterday’s result was poor, was it any worse than Fulham away, Everton(twice) or Wolves or Palace at home recently?
The sad reality is that we’ve laboured under the false pretence all season that our squad is better than it is.
It isn’t, regardless of how much it’s worth on paper, over the season it’s been found out and while we’re being honest it was being found out at the bank end of last season.
Our summer recruitment has offered us nothing in the league, absolutely nothing and that will need to be addressed.
The big man will need to look long and hard in the mirror and take his share of blame, but he has been massively let down by people, I assume he pays handsomely.
