Dyche Out

Dont see this Dyche ball crap. Before the sending off we were spraying the ball around excellently.

You clearly didn't go to Everton, Bournemouth, Villa, Braga, Graz. We couldn't put two passes together and most of the time didn't even try to. The tactic away from home is sit deep and boot the ball forward in the general direction of Jesus who has virtually no chance of retaining possession.

So, 5 games out of 23 have not met your exacting standards, one of which was Dyches first league game, and two were EC games with a raft of changes to the team.

Considering the circumstances, the quality of our play, on the whole, has not been that bad.

And if you have conveniently forgotten what those circumstances were, a starting position in the relegation zone following a disastrous run of games under Dyches predecessor, and the absence of a striker who has been instrumental in scoring a large proportion of our goals during the previous two seasons (35 in 75 games).

There has been a long history of teams attempting to play their way out of the mess we were in, most of which have ended in failure.

The facts speak for themselves - we have averaged over 1.3 points per game since Dyche took over and sit in 10th place in the current form table for that period.

There have been some games where the performances and the result were not acceptable, most of those games occurred when Sangare was on Afcon duty, but they are in a very small minority; there have been other games, like Brentford away - a team who had lost one previous home game all season - where the performance was as good as could be expected. 

There are a small number of sanctimonious people who have a warped perception of Dyche and his style of play; thankfully they are being drowned out by the majority who appreciate the job he is doing.

Enough sanctimonious people to start a Dyche Out heading on here. You are right that Dyche has accumulated a reasonable points haul so far. You are wrong that only a handful of performances have been awful. The majority have even in games we have won  such as Brentford and West Ham away. We could have easily lost those games on another day. Eventually points per game start to reflect performances. Only Wolves have scored fewer goals. If that lack of creativity in Dyche’s tactics continues it will catch up with the points per game.

Said before, straw argument. Plenty of games might have been won on another day. Say like against another days 10 man city where we were excellent.
