And we are in the Championship and playing in the Champions League  :CUP:

In a weird sort of way being in Wolves position would probably help us in that regard, ignore the league and concentrate on the cup. Unfortunately we don’t have the luxury that Spurs and Man Utd had of 3 obvious much poorer teams below them. 
Feels like trying to compete in both is going to cost us both…

Burnley do seem to have dropped back after a few early wins, Leeds are still not a good side too. We can still build a decent lead over these teams. Need to play much better than this week though.

Leeds seem to have a bit of fight in them though, didn’t expect them to beat Chelsea or get a result yesterday. Fair play to them. They came into this season expecting a fight, we didn’t. 
Conversely this last game week as felt like a corner being turned in the opposite direction for us, another home loss (Brighton) and struggled against Wolves and Everton.  
Felt like we had take a point against Brighton and a point against Everton to keep up the pressure above us and stay on target. 
Instead we will probably fall back into the zone over the next game week. 
That isn’t good. 
Think we needed to stay out of it until transfer window opened to have a real chance.
