Nailed on no arguments
If you want to make excuses, then yeah…definitely
Hahaha not like you to disagree with me pal.
Bad/excessive recruitment isn't an excuse for bad results. It's just the same as getting tactics wrong on the pitch. All part of the same engine. If a team screws it up then it's on them.
Can you give us a detailed breakdown of our bad recruitment?
Perhaps you preferred 11 starters and poor back ups like last seasons squad which cost us dearly in the end.
Although last seasons squad was better than our squad of 2 years ago.
In other words we try to keep improving and we try to keep getting stronger.
Honestly Sniffer I can't be arsed to single people out in what looks like a hindsight list which we can all easily do. Everything that's been happening around us is there to see, the evidence some poor and excessive signings is clear to see.
Because some of the lads who have been sidelined might have done well if we made half the amount of signings ect and I'm almost certainly the new manager will see things slightly differently with preferences like they all do.
So I do think a small amount of our singings were bad signings because of the player profile but my main gripe is the excessive nature of the business we have done which has ultimately upended the squad and lost us a manager and his coaching staff.
It's plain to see and if you don't see it that way I'm happy not to try and change your mind.
With this particular post I was talking about Liverpool. The combination of big names, egos and heavy price tags all moving into a settle squad. They didn't need to buy Isaac and now it's causing squad disruption because they had a new signing firing in that position. Money = pressure to play and when you drop someone doing well for financial reasons it unsettled the squad.
