I say this because there is no stand out candidate who is realistic (assuming we can’t get Silva).
So we end up with Dyche/Streich/Martins etc and there is a section of our fans like you lot who don’t agree, does this pattern repeat when we can’t accept that we aren’t as good as we would like to think?
This is my fear too as the new guy is likely going to be someone that is also not someone we'd ideally want. Is the reaction to Ange just a one off because of the disappointment/anger of the Nuno fallout? If it's someone random that most don't know will that give them more time? Part of the Ange issue is just that Spurs were so bad last year and then we've seen identical issues here so far.
Had we have come out swinging those first few games, taken our chances vs Swansea, Burnley, Betis then I imagine everyone would've warmed to Ange more. It really has gone as badly as it could possibly have really.
