I appreciate that sniff did not want him and remember both your surprise and disappointment when it was announced.
But that is the problem is it not. The fans were sceptical about the appointment and based on the fact he was replacing our most successful manager in a generation, he would never be afforded much time. Add to this his first 6 games (with the exception of arsenal away) were not that difficult (on paper) and yet he's failed to win one of them would always ensure things would go south and quickly.
Yes... If he manages a shock win against Newcastle that would alleviate some of the pressure but he's got to do a lot to turn this around. Ultimately the only currency he can really operate in is winning football matches right now - if he can't do that then he has to go.
This club cannot afford relegation - it would undo all the work done by Marinakis, Cooper and Nuno.
