Maybe I'm misreading this but I think the anger is purely directed at the appointment of Ange, as opposed to anything to do with Nuno or the squad building. Fwiw, thought we had an excellent window (barring a bit of fullback depth which has unluckily been exposed).
The perfectly reasonable frustration is that we've come out looking exactly like Spurs did under Ange last year with potentially worse attack.
Yesterday was the same as Burnley. Anyone saying the goals conceded under Ange have been individual mistakes is ignoring the goals we didn't concede due to bad missed. Both Burnley and Sunderland had some massive chances, we narrowly edged it on xG so this idea if we'd just taken our chances is overly generous. If Sunderland and Burnley took their chances they'd have scored more too.
Betis was excellent, played really well and hopefully we see more of that. Its just tough to take and the negative comments are entirely justified in my opinion. I don't think its fair just to dismiss the anger from yesterday as an overreaction. So far in the Premier League, Ange's tactics look like they don't work. I agree with the comment above, 3 in the middle was really effective against Betis and maybe he found something with that and goes back to it (even if that means Sangare has to play!)
I would suggest based on the upcoming league fixtures this conversation isn't going to go away. Fwiw, its too late now, I don't want him to be sacked as that's the recipe for a relegation. We have to lean into it now. Doesn't mean I'm not going to be angry after every loss!
