Its going to take at least 10 games before things even start to settle down.
We had no pre-season (remember all those posts made about not being able to score and not winning in pre-season ?? - or conveniently forgot those posts ??????????????)
Dominguez got subbed at half time and rightly so, he was play acting and got caught out. No excuse.
We have to progress if we want to become a top six side, and that means some pain, without the pain there will be no gain.
The goal for this season is win the Europa League and stable mid table in the PL, whilst changing the style. Then we become much stronger ahead. We should see us finish comfortable mid table by May next year.
Ange has had 5 games now, still going to be another volatile 5 games ahead before things then stabilise and we move forward.
You honestly think he gets another 5 games. Regardless of results?
You think he survives dropping into the bottom 3 ?
No way.
He needs wins. Not in Europe, in the league
I do, yes.
Fair play mate I wish I had your optimism.
Personally think we’re toast and quite possibly in a relegation battle that I’m not sure we are equipped to win given the managers available.
I don’t think it’s necessarily optimistic to think we aren’t in a relegation battle after six games. But that’s what a forum is all about, right? Sharing our opinions, respecting the views of our fellow fans, and hoping for the best (or not).
Absolutely mate.
But you make it sound like it’s a project going forward.
It isn’t . Ange told us it wasn’t. He said it would start against Swansea.
Well , we are still waiting.
Don’t get me wrong I would love him to get time and turn it around but I don’t see how he survives with no wins and dropping into the bottom 3.
Every game that goes buy without a win puts more pressure on the next fixture and then the next one
