Chris Wood contract: Believe current offer is one more year. Wood, who turned 33 earlier in December, would like two+. Current salary c. £100k p/w - top end of Forest pay bracket. Strong willingness on both sides to do deal #NFFC

2 years makes sense anyway because we can sell him at the end of next season. I'm sure it will happen because he deserves more than a year extension.

I think it'll end up being a year with an apps based clause to extend the further year.

i'm not sure you want to be paying a 35yo £100k unless he's contributing
