No trumpet blowing. Quietly getting on with the job. A sign that the people who are now running the club know what they are doing and that the Forest legacy...is in safe hands.
...and the City Ground has had a coat of paint.
It looked a dirty, mossy, rusty and faded paint mess under previous owners.
It's night and day. Ancient History and History in the Making.
Ironic that I watched 'I believe in Miracles' the other day (with a pint of Guiness no less and an XXXL sized marshmallow...) and that's my Forest, the one I remember.
But our current leadership on and off the pitch augers well for the future.
Signing the Portuguese lads was a massive keystone of intent for this season.
