Agree Pap, he wont change because this is how he plays and always has, suspect he will be bewildered by the criticism. Ive said for so e time Southgate’s approach is the reason England win most matches, qualifiers etc but its also the reason we lose the games where it really counts.
What pissed me off more than the poor 90 mins was the way we sat back after the second goal and nearly paid for it. I totally get why Cooper got criticism at Forest for doing the same but he was doing that vs superior or at least closely matched opponents. England have some of the worlds best players, Slovakia would struggle in the Championship.
