The club have pulled a master stroke here haven’t they, when did we last bemoan the treatment of AK who left less than a week ago.
Some will say it’s a cynical ploy to appease the fans, well if it is it’s worked.
However I don’t think it is. Like others at the beginning I was a bit dubious, another ex player like Pearce, only this time it’s different.
We all knew Pearce was an average manager, who most of us supported just because let’s face it Stuart Pearce! Psycho!
Wasn’t long before some (shame on them) turned against him.
Martin O’Neill however is managerial in a different league. Leicester, Villa, Celtic even ROI his experience and achievements are there to see.
He will, by the fans at least, be given time, not because of who he is but because of what he has achieved. I’m fully on board like of a lot of us can’t wait to see who comes with him.
Is Forest finally going to go full circle and one of the men who got us at the top last time about to get us up there again.
