We aren’t winning this argument no matter what injustice we might feel. It is becoming a massive distraction to the job in hand. So far 2024 couldn’t have gone much worse. It starts with finding out we have breached sustainability rules leading to a points deduction. We then find out the plans for a new main stand after years of talk is pretty much dead in the water, next we here that season ticket prices are going up in some cases 27%, then we make ourselves a laughing stock and despised by the rest of the football in this country whilst at the same time we accrue just two victories and at this moment we will do well to survive relegation in competition with three of the worst teams to have been in the premier lleague. it is turning out to be an awful year.
I might be existing in an echo chamber Tom, but I think you've not read the room on this. From what ive read and heard we have the general football fan onside with this. The ref on Sky yesterday saying only 1 of the 3 pens was actually a pen just added to our momentum. The average football fan thinks the refs and var are a bunch of corrupt shite and it needs binning. They also think Neville, Carragher and Sky are protecting their own interests.
We're now the rebel club pushing these agenda.
The Garybaldis.....
Other supporters all around the country are taking the piss out of us. Not sure where what you are reading.
Read the replies to last night’s statement from Forest. A lot of public opinion is behind us, unfortunately I don’t think it will count for much from the powers that be.
