I get the impression that the foot through the TV moment was swiftly followed by a phone call to say “get a different goalkeeper by Thursday evening or else”.
Lets hope he is better than what we have but we have to accept there are absolutely no guarantees. Hope the fans give him a break if he messes up early on but suspect we won’t.
