If there is any ire in terms of individual performance last night it should be levelled at CHO.

His lack of bottle to win headers or 60:40 tackles in his favour is shocking.

He doesn’t do enough to justify being part of the 25 man squad.

We really miss Elanga.

There are remnants in CHO play which show why he was such a massive prospect at Chelsea. His first touch remains excellent. He can still put in a good cross with his right foot as seen by Woods goal at Brentford. The big issue for him is a loss of pace which means he can’t go past defenders on the outside. He is playing in the same position as Robbo who had much less pace still but his left foot was so good he he didn’t need pace to go both ways. If CHO could improve his delivery with his left foot he could become a very useful player again but at 23 those kind of skills are usually already developed.

We’ve had so many players who you could say the same about who we’ve wasted two, three or four years on without getting sufficient return on investment. 

Also, to be honest, I’m not seeing these remnants and if you were there yesterday you would have seen that he was arguably a liability to the team. He has the heart of a mouse, pulls out of tackles where he is favourite to win and is scared to compete for headers. He constantly left the full back to join in their attacks leaving Nuno exposed. 

As it stands he’s not fit to polish Robbo’s turds and their names shouldn’t even occupy the same sentence.
