sacking Cooper this season would be the first step to returning to the wilderness we had for the 22 years until he came. It’s tough at the minute with a few injuries to forward players and to be honest we don’t have an abundance of quality in those positions when they are all available. All managers have difficult spells. I keep hearing our squad is so good we should be mid table but look at the squads around us. Do we really have a better squad than Everton or even Bournemouth. Our current squad is not too far off where you would expect it to be. We are currently two points off 11th. Leeds and Leicester had better squads than us last season and got relegated. Cooper has massively over achieved at Forest. The quality in the premier league is so high we aren’t going to rise up the division overnight like we did in the championship. Progress will inevitably be more gradual. Yesterday wasn’t great but I have been to most games since we got promoted and I would say we are better than this time last season, definitely more competitive away from home and progress is being made. Sack Cooper we risk chucking that away and going back to where we came from.

Yes exactly, our squad is just a bunch of veterans and kids with potential. We've got a lack of attacking options and that's with everyone fit. We've played the last month depleted due to injuries to 4-5 players that would be starters if fit. We also sold our best attacker.

We've only lost to Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and Man Utd this year. We're were in three of those games too! Did anyone expect anything else? We dropped points vs Luton and Burnley and gained 3 vs Chelsea, so we're broadly where you'd predicted us to be at this point. The fixtures get a little easier now and we have Taiwo back so lets try and be a bit positive.
