What I did say is that questions need to be asked of Steve Coopers decisions yesterday. Surely nobody is disputing that are they?
Steve is our greatest manager over a period of many many years but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't question him when we feel that he could have done better.
I wouldn't bother Sniff. Even the smallest of criticism of Cooper draws the inevitable 'why do you want to sack the greatest manager of this era'.
Yes it gets a tad annoying that things can't be kept real and in perspective sometimes, there always seems to be an over exaggerated reply to the slightest bit of criticism of the manager.
Personally I think Steve is currently underachieving with the squad that he has at his disposal.
The reason we defend him is for the exact reason in your last sentence. I do not believe he is underachieving with the squad he has at his disposal. I don't think our squad is that great at this moment, it has a lot of potential but as Chelsea will tell you potential doesn't win games.
Plus we're missing Taiwo, Danilo, Felipe, Aina, Tavares, Montiel. At least four starters there and it means our bench is weak. Yet for some reason that isn't taken into consideration, why is that? Yet Palace are described as depleted when we play them with a similar injury list.
