Weve not been in the top division for 20 years. Im willing to give any alternative operating model a go to see if it makes a difference.
The positive would be that it provides continuity through the club with players being signed for long term benefit rather than short termism. As at Oly, it might mean the general performance of the club not being affected by the single head coach's performance in his job.
Negatives would be that we have a manager in place for whom I've developed a sincere respect for who has turned the squad around in 12 months and got the players giving their all. He's probably the best manager weve had at the club since Basset. IMO his position will become untennable.
