Watching him yesterday, he moves into space between the lines so intelligently, but then, if the ball came to him, gets delivered the ball at head height half the time, or a second or two late, meaning the space has closed down.
If I were the manager, I would be instructing all of our "back 6" to get the ball to him as much as possible, as early as possible and most crucially on the deck!
If we had launched hit and hope balls into and over Robbo's head (John not Jack) would he have been able to destroy England and Europe the way he did?
He is top drawer, no doubt, sadly, all too often we are not. Feeding off scraps like yesterday, even Messi would have struggled to make an impact.
Give the lad the ball alot more and watch them go!
