So if we go down then we have to sell one decent player to balance the books? What's changed? That was always the case.

And imo Yates will attract a few offers in thr summer.

What's changed is our remaining squad will be stacked in comparison to recent years in the championship, with a decent age profile in some areas and plenty of resale value.

Also we can afford to keep more of them due to parachute payments.

in all honesty would we want to keep majority of the players we have now because if they can't play together now they sure as hell won't be able to play together in 5/6 months time IF we get relegated, But saying that there is a few players worth keeping if they're willing to stay such as Johnson, Niakhate, Felipe, Mangala, MGW, Danilo and Awoniyi. Do what the great Cloughie said and thats as long as you have a good spine in the team you have a good starting point.  All this assuming we actually get relegated. Its obvious that we'll need to sell a couple of good players to either buy again or balance the books.
