We need more Wassy in our lives at present.
Zico, can this team get out of the championship next season?
Horvath
Williams Niakhate Wozza Felipe Toff
Danillo OBrien Yates
MGW
Awoniyi.
We may have a shot at keeping Lingard if he fancies getting sorted out of the spotlight for a realistic wage. And there's McKenna, Boly, Biancone, Colback, Shelvey, Scarpa, Surridge, Wood all to come in. Its one hell of a championship side really, even when players like Lodi and Hendo disappear.
So it wouldnt be like the last 23 years really. Or shouldn't.
That team isn't a million miles of being top end of a Championship. I'd be looking to offload a couple more and be looking for some more pace. I think Boly has to play - when fit- as he is far better than Niakhate or Joe. Id try and cash in on Niakhate anyway tbh. Can't see MGW staying, Scarpa could be a standout in Championship in 10 role. I'd prefer a more experienced and pacey RWB to be honest.
Needs Cooper to stay and to pull it all together though for me, otherwise it could go bad very quickly. We've looked good on paper plenty of times only to be sh1t on the actual grass.
I dont necessary agree it needs Cooper to be successful in the championship. That squad is easily as good as the West Brom, Norwich, Watford etc sides that have come down and gone back up in refent times. Maybe even as good as last season's Fulham side if we get a goal scorer in. Cooper's Championship CV is excellent and if he cant get a decent tune out of them from the off then he's the problem and he's toast.
