It really isnt, I would say any new manager coming in now has about a 1% chance of improving this season.
The absolute tragedy is picking the wrong person in a panic lumbers us with someone who is totally the wrong fit in the longer term. Going by our managerial success rate over the last 23 years I would say that is by far the most likely outcome.
Yep, it seems the idea is that by changing manager you automatically improve your chance of survival. When in reality and backed up by statistics that just isn't the case at all.
Even this year alone, looking at the changes that have happened, so far Wolves are about the same with better players, Southampton got worse, Chelsea got worse, Spurs got worse, Leicester got worse, Everton are marginally better but still right in there. Villa got better but how many of those teams were being dragged down by a shit coach eg Lampard, Gerrard, Marsh etc
