Some Palace comments:
Infuriating performance. Not taking our chances first just means we usually end up chasing a game. Forest won't care about their ugly football as they're scrapping down the bottom and we simply had no ideas to break them down. It's games like this where Eze has to stamp more authority on the game to influence the outcome but he often struggles to get involved.
Don't know what's more a annoying Wilf missing a pen or that tw*t Yates cheating and feigning injury every few minutes.
We have never beaten Forest in a Premier game ever, so omens weren't good.
Really disappointing result today. I know they have improved in recent weeks but we really should be capable of putting in a better performance than that.
Forest are poor but they are organised / balanced. We on the other hand aren’t and play into the opponents hands. It needs a couple of strong midfielders taking the ball forward quickly and passing to those players you mentioned quicker. It’s not rocket science.
The offside VAR was baffling. On the TV, the replay shown was from an angle and the line therefore not parallel with the 18 yard box. I’m utterly convinced he was a foot offside - haven’t seen anything to convince me otherwise. I’m interested to hear what PV thinks about it. Anyway, it doesn’t matter as we deserved to lose. Forest were poor too but were at least up for it.
We lost most if not all of the 50/50s often leaving our players sprawled on the pitch, we are at present only able to play when teams allow us space to do so and against teams like today we can always appear pretty hopeless.
Today was an absolutely shocking performance playing a really bad Forest side.
I struggle to know what to make of our start to the year because we have had so many poor performances but then again every single team seems to be struggling for consistency bar the top 3.
Schlupp had an absolute mare and was way too easily muscled out of the game by Forest who beat us up easily throughout, we played well enough for a point Zaha needs to be more careful.
