Of course the argument goes that they have spent 6 of the last 8 seasons in the Premier League which for a club of that size is very impressive.
Im just not sure if their success is because of their owners or in spite of them.
Got to be because of them. If the ownership's not right then nothing decent generally follows. I'm not sure a club with a larger fan base would put up with the constant flow of managers though so if thats the way they want to operate then they own the right type of club.
Doesn't mean Giraldi wasn't also culpable too, he was still involved in all the decisions. Surely if he disagreed that much he'd have left way sooner. Or alternatively he had no power and therefore you can't give him much credit for what happened at Watford as it was all the owners? Can't pick and choose which parts were him and which were the owners to make him look good surely.
