Sniff if the club allow Cooper to leave without a fight, as a result of some unpublicised internal differences, then the consequences will be ginormous in the eyes of the fan base. Allowing him to go will end in almost certain relegation and that will be held against the owners for years. The whole season will pan out to be an unmitigated disaster and go down in Forest history the same as when Kevin Campbell was sold. The whole football world will consider us to be a nutcase club and they'd be right.
Couldn't agree more. After the miracle of last season, how on earth have we got ourselves in a position where we're even having these conversations?
Cooper not sgning a contract & possibly unhappy? Owners willing to let him go?
I just don't get it. We spent all summer chasing MGW, Cooper's number 1 target. That to me looks like the owners doing everything they can to keep the man happy.
Cooper united the club last season & if he goes, I can see the fans turning quickly.
