Hmm be interesting to see how it goes then sniffer.
this is the job spec being shown on linkedin if anyone is interested.

First Team:
- Management and HR of the first team staff
- Liaison between the CEO and the first team staff and players
- Responsible for the daily operations of the first team department

Academy:
- Development and implementation of the strategic plan of the academy
- Oversee the academy recruitment policy
- Liaise with the BoD for any disciplinary, key staff hiring, special approvals and other matters

Recruitment Department:
- Oversee the efficiency of the department
- Ensure the cooperation with the scouting department
- Communication and follow-up with players on loan

Training Facilities:
- Manage the daily operations and amelioration of the training facilities

I think that hits the nail on the head.

Basically whatever you want or whatever you need come to me and I will get it for you.

For example:

We need some new gym machines at the training centre, no problem I will get them.

I need help moving house, no problem I will sort it out for you.

We need a different hotel for the away match at Noriwch to what we stayed in last year. No problem I will find another one.

Etc etc.

In my honest opinion and from what I have seen and heard at Olympiakos he WON'T be sticking his nose into Karanka's work, he will help him though with all the essential things that the players, staff and the club in genral needs, he is the person to go to if you get my drift!
