OK I get all the likely "League is priority....don't want injuries....blah blah" posts that will probably appear but IF we manage to get past a very good Huddersfield side then we will have our biggest game for over 20 years bar none.
Stay with me on this,:
Supporters of a certain age and generation have lifelong memories. Storey Moore, Robbo, Colin Barett, Trev, Birtles Brian Rice etc.... but you lads and lasses under the age of about 27-30 have pretty much f#(k all of any where near that magnitude-until Fester. Man City home, Highbury in 88, OT in 89, Villa Park 91. The FA Cup is magical.
All these teenagers and 20 somethings , you now have the chance of an "I was there" day, making your own memories that you can reminisce about in the pub when you're fat old and going grey like me.
So for those who don't remember why we hate Liverpool or worse still admire them or even like them IF Forest do the business on Monday you will see why. And should we beat them, it will be a day etched in the memory banks for life.
",In your Liverpool slums...."
"Who put the ball in the Scousers net...."
"He's only a poor little Scouser...."
