Unless we hit some really poor form between now and Xmas we should see a manager last a full season, and deservedly so. Yes he's spent big, but let's not forget the players sold and the amount other teams have spending whilst we've been buying garbage or freeloaders.
A total overhaul was needed, finished product could well be after Jan window. Then a strong push for auto spot.

All held the no.1 spot and Forest have beaten (and should have beaten three) two of them, neutralised Leeds but after a lead against Norwich, stuffed it up.
If they had beaten Norwich, Forest would be top.
