All other top clubs that operate properly with those ideas in mind have a CEO and a DOF, why would we be any different? You cannot have one person running a football club, just not possible.
But there is not just one, there is a whole team of which one is the head and he will have the the final say, Dane Murphy.
Obviously the DOF reports in to the CEO as they do at other successful clubs that operate this model,all have other a CEO and a DOF. Why would you not want that if you are going for that structure and model? Dane cannot be on the training ground of youth teams and first teams all of the time and be a good CEO and the responsibility that role brings. Top clubs operate that way.
I looked into this a bit more and it's the job of Chris Brass to integrate the youth teams into the first team etc. He is molding and doing the joining together stuff of the different levels etc.
Also it was interesting yesterday that even Cooper mentioned something about not paying too much attention to job titles.
