Safe Standing At The City Ground?

Never understand those who object to the idea with the I dont want someone standing in front of me arguments. Thats the whole point, go and sit somewhere else then, it stops the arguments when someone wants to stand in a sitting area too.
The other objection is safety which successive governments have hidden behind for 30 years now, every ground in the country has been transformed since then.
