Yes. Been thinking this for a while. 'Master plan.' There's a clear 'Forest Way' to how the u23s are playing. Indelible identity of the Forest Academy.
If we can remove the bottle neck from u23s to the 1st team, flood gates! That's a question for the new CEO to answer. It might explain why we have 14 academy members in our 1st team squad. And perhaps this process is already underway.
It's coming.

We have had a DOF for some time now and that should be his role in ensuring that transition and integration happens successfully, as well as looking to implement similar styles and formations as well as coaching so it is a setup youth players are already familiar with when they step up to the first team.
Nothing changes with the role/expectation of the position they are playing which should make it easier for them to be able to perform.
Let's hope that begins to happen. It happens at youth level but the whole club should be looking to play the same way.
