What? You are all for giving a new guy a chance but in the same sentence write him off and accepting relegation and saying we are in trouble if it’s a Murphy appointment. Sound like you have a downer on him before he’s appointed.

I will give him a chance. Whoever gets the job will have my support. He hasn’t got the job yet so before they announce anyone I will air my concerns. I just don’t think he is going to differ much from what we had. I said the same regarding CH before he was officially appointed. So yeah I suppose you’re right I do have a downer on him.
I would honestly love to be proven wrong. I would love it if he came in and was the right fit for us and wa where for the next 4 or 5 years. At the moment I just don’t see it.
My first choice would have been wilder. Someone with an bit of attitude and personality who isn’t afraid to say what they think and ruffle a few feathers.
TBH I was looking forward to Dane bringing in a Barnsley type manager, an unknown but then that has big risk too.
Time will only tell but whoever gets the job will have my full support like CH did until it was clear it wasn’t going to work.
