20k salary cap is interesting, maybe we'll actually finally sort our finances out. Our best chance of going up in a parachute payments world is surely running low wages and relying on a group of academy players to peak at the same time.
As for Taylor, I've not listened but if as said above he was holding back then sounds like Dane has had a word IMO (wildly speculating). Reigning him back in and getting his support should be seen as a big plus for the new regime, whilst perhaps it means we hear slightly less of the goings on, it implies there's less to tell! Fingers crossed
I didn't get any impression that Dane has had a word with him to be honest. He's still critical of Randall, in particular the none delivery of all of the positive things in his 'open letter' when EM took over from Fawaz. Critical too of the PR operation of the the clubs basically suggesting everything's rosy, and as has been said above, very critical of Vrentzos and the transfer business of the last 5 years. So far he sees Dane Murphy as a positive but I wonder how long it's going to take before he get the Taylor knifing.
Well the fact that he chose to not criticise any of his work and was generally positive about the parts he was involved in, comes across as implicit praise IMO. Suggests he wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt at the very least.
