Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager

He had his team last year. What did he do with it? They were good damn awful. They were loans so it does not count? We looked less of a team at the end of the season than we did at the start of it.

Name his team of permanent signings.  Go on.  

What team of 11 players did Hughton have 'of his' last year that he signed on for the poison chalice?  

He didn't bring in any players last Summer.  He brought in a loan.

Had to wait until the January window to band aid last Summer's dart board recruitment.  He brought in?  Murray.  Garner.  Krov'.  Mere patchwork for the recruitment problems Forest made for themselves previously when Hughton wasn't here.

None of whom were permanent (and Garner and Krov' going back has proven damaging to the team because we're weaker without them and it's shown in the start to the season.)

Still waiting on that striker.

Hardly sets up any manager for free flowing football.

Just give up Strawbs me owd. The consensus is that we're crap and it's all CH's fault.

Not the case actually. Though every single post where Hughton gets criticised is jumped on by a few folk and the same lines repeated about no permanent signings and it's getting a bit boring. I think the vast majority of poster agree that recruitment hasn't been up to standard but a similar majority also don't rate Hughton and wouldn't mind if he was moved on. 

There is probably a thought that by defending the manager, people are taking the mature, classy, sensible opinion but in all honesty the people that are defending Hughton are actually slating an entire squad of players! Most of them are not crap players, a lot of them would perform far better with better management, I believe. I just don't feel Chris has a fire in his belly, maybe his previous success has made it less exciting to try and only win promotion from the Champ, who knows. 

I would far rather we kept with a manager for the long term and built on a system, but it has to be the right manager...is that Chris, I'm not so sure.

In fairness to Hughton, the results in the league have been quite close.  (But where are the recruits to turn those results into draws?  Wins?)

1 goal in it.  And all could have been draws by some suspect keeping.  (Also Hughton's fault.)

You could argue that he should have dropped samba but in true CH style he persists with something that hasn't been working...

How many mistakes does samba have to make before he is dropped. That's the managers decision to play him. He should have been dropped after the cov game.
