How many times did Podence materialise in space in our area. Although they both made mistakes that led to goals, I was very impressed with the centre halves who pulled off last ditch tackles and blocks, especially first half. I also liked the moment where Konate had the balls to take on Traore (who was literally twice as wide as him) for skill.
Brazil and his staff are doing a fine job and, if we can patch together the first team for a couple of years hhe future may be brighter.
The only disappointing thing was that, in a game where we were going to get barely any possession in good areas, we didn't take care of the ball.
