There was a poll on Twitter a couple of weeks ago which had some interesting results so I thought I'd post a similar one on here. The crux of it was: Would you rather we only sign loans and frees (with *maybe* a small permanent deal) if it meant keeping the players we really want to keep (Worrall, Johnson, Mighten etc.)? Or would you rather we sell one or more of them to fund more purchases and round out the squad?
For the purposes of this poll it's a binary choice. Obviously in an ideal world we'd rather sell Arter, Jenkinson and Bong, but that's not looking likely at the moment.
So - keep what we have and make only modest signings? Or speculate to accumulate?
I put don't sell but only because the options were limited. 100% sell if we're getting good offers, however the fact that we haven't sold already suggests we're not. Not sure I see the point of selling low just to buy with someone else of a similar level.
Oh yes. I'm not suggesting a desperate fire sale. I meant sell if the offers were at least reasonable. £4m for Johnson I wouldn't class as reasonable.
