That's not true zico. Last year Barnsley were a worse squad than us, getting beat week in, week out, murphy brought in a unknown guy, got them playing good attacking football, and look where they finished, some called it over achieving, even tho this achieving football has wba playing out of there skin for him, I trust murpy to find use someone like him, to at least get us believing in the game again, fingers crossed we sort this sooner than later

Im not sure Murphy even selected their manager. They were/are part of a larger group of clubs that their owners run. It would well be that their owners chose him.

Murphy was definitely one of the main driving force behind Ismael's appointment. He's given interviews stating he was specifically looking for that type of coach, and stated his preference for someone who played gegenpressen and who had good leadership skills were the main reasons he wanted him.

I do like the sound of a progressive, high pressing manager. However, he would get slaughtered as we don't even slightly have the players to do it.

We'd need to sign another 5-10 minimum to implement this approach.
