Genuine question... if we leave him in place and say let's see where we are at Christmas then by that point our season will be outlined. With a win % of less than 30 the stats would suggest a season of struggle. OK yes he may sign another 4 right backs before the window closes but we are trusting him to turn this around.
Reading his comments about Yates and colback in the post this morning it sounds very helpful like, as predicted, he will be sticking with them. Garner played for united in a friendly yesterday. We don't seem to have any other options in that area. It doesn't work. It didn't work for sabri and its not worked for CH.
I don't like CH never have. I hate his brand of football but will support him whilst he is here. But how long do we realistically give him?
If the owner backs him then so we have to. Doesn't mean we have to like it but once the team is on the pitch we are all wanting the same thing.
The other questikn is how long does the owner back him for.... the fans are one thing but the owner wants success, wants progress. How long does EM leave it until he is satisfied the progress is non existent or not good enough.

Unless Murphy gets his finger out and gets some players in they may as well fire him now.
Most of the hard work was done before Murphy arrived; we got rid of a number of players, which effected a big saving on our wage bill, at the end of June.
If he has problems with the likes of Arter, Bong and Jenkinson being a drain on our wage bill or bandwidth, whatever the f*ck that means, he needs to pick the phone up and complain to Vrentzos.
All he has to do is sign a few more players so that we can become competitive; if he needs to sell a player to achieve that, I am sure everyone would understand.
As for Hughton's style of play; that is very much subjective.
There was nothing wrong with his style of play at Newcastle, Birmingham or Brighton when they were in the EFL - his sides finished top scorers on two occasions, and in the top four scorers on two other occasions; people can call him defensive all day long but you do not achieve that playing defensive football.
The big difference at those clubs was he got the players he wanted; he has been with us nearly a year and has not come close to getting the players we need.
What Hughton did or did not do during his time in the PL is totally irrelevant; we can cross that bridge when we get to it.
