And stating the totally fxxxing obvious so has changing manager every year.
Oooohhh caught a big one there... chill out fella.... I would also point out that Watford change managers 3 or 4 times a season and it doesn't seem to do them any harm.
I mean I agree to a point that someone like Cohen would need help but I for one don't buy in to this experienced manager crap.
Loom how many new managers come here and win promotion.
I do think CH should be given time but I can't see it improving. What's he had now??? 43 league games. OK we can argue that he hasn't made many signings but we can also argue that his tactics are so outdated. So easy to play against. Do you really think that, when he has his own players in, he will move away from 2 defensive midfielders every game. Do you really think that he isn't going to play safe.
People keep saying look what he did at Newcastle and Brighton. I don't care about that. Football changes. The style of football now in the championship is closer than ever to that of the Premier league. The quality may not be as good but teams certainly set up in a similar way. So my argument would be to look at Brighton and Newcastle under Ch in the Prem. They didn't score bags of goals. They were defensive and relied on holding on to what they had.
You need so.ething different to get out of this league. You need to be on the front foot and scoring goals. You need to be able to turn defense in to attack and if you do sit back you get punished.
We don't have a bad squad. We don't have a great squad. We have a disjointed squad but a squad that with the right management can score goals. A squad that when encouraged to attack will create chances. Unfortunately we also have a squad that is incapable of sitting back and holding on as we have proved time and time again under CH.
So yeah we could wait until Christmas. We could give him the season but with the loan signings and lack of permanent signings we are back to square 1 in the summer again.
2 games and zero points
2 wins in the last 16.
My opinion is that CH is not the right man for this job. I hope I'm wrong. I will support the team, I will get behind the manager no matter what. But I wouldn't be unhappy to see him gone.
Sorry what proof is there we have a squad capable of scoring goals and creating chances. I must've missed that the last few years.
Under Sabri we were regularly outplayed we just ground out scrappy one goal wins aside from a few occasions.
We have a band average team, why can't people just accept that. It'll take time to bring the young players through etc. Teams like Watford can afford to repeatedly sack managers because they have good squad and because they have parachute payments. Also, they got relegated last year, I'm not sure that exactly shows them to be a huge success.
