The first time I saw Forest play against a foreign team was in 1978 when we played the Greek Champions AEK Athens.
When me and her indoors are in Athens every winter we live just a stones throw away from the AEK Stadium where Forest played on the way to winning their first European Cup. It was sadly damaged during an earthquake and had to be demolished. Now they have started to build a new state of the art stadium due to be completed some time next year.
