The left side has been more solid defensively I agree to that. The reason for me has been:
- Having either Lolley, Dias or Benny in left midfield (and not Goncalves which for me is not yet strong enough defensively)
- Having a left back that is not as willing to attack as much as Benny thus not being exposed as much when we lose the ball in an attacking formation (if you look at the stats, Benny has had double the ball possession compared to Robinson when playing at left back)
I do hope that Robinson will develop into a wing back given time but the early signs suggests that we should be looking for a better option.
