Whilst Jon Collins knew the value of the club and what it means to thousands of Nottingham citizens, trust me, there were contingency plans being worked on to take legal proceedings out against the club at that time due to the fact that it was tax payers money the Council lent to the club and there are many, many more thousands of tax payers the council had to consider as well, and part of the legal proceedings was to look at reclaiming the land the ground is built on. In the end it was left to Councillor John Taylor to negotiate with the club to get them to start their payments again. One of the last things John did before stepping down as a Councillor.
