This Yacob signing has really flagged up a few concerns. I think it's just a bizare philosuphy to add "better" players constantly irrespective of position.
How does that build a team? How does that build a unit? How does that address weak areas in the side?
It's a Man U philosiphy for top teams who can afford to do that. Not a philosiphy for a Champ club who could face FFP
Yes add quality when it's availble, but prioritize team balance first, and also temper that with squad size & club wage.
If this is AK's only approach I do start to question if he's the right man for us long term, because it's a modus operandi built for a club which has recently seen Prem income & parachute payments, and we haven't.
It's just not a sustainable approach unless we go up.
