OK. I'm as gutted as anyone that we've been beaten, especially as we played well.
This has been a sh1tshow of a start to the season. No goals and no points before CH arrived and only 3 wins so far. But heres the thing, I love this club and many of our fans, I miss matchday home and away and all that entails. I quite like the debate on this site which is usually quite balanced even if - like me tonight- quite emotional.
But the negative shite you've been posting for some time has caught my interest and attention. As you say (paraphrased) we are all entitled to an opinion so long as it's yours...
So having posted numerous times negatively tonight regarding our unfortunate defeat, in the interests of balance I thought I'd look at how you responded to our win against Wycombe.....but not one post could I find (my very luddite system of trawling the matchday thread probably not the quickest or most efficient way). Not to worry, I had Coventry thread to check. Same method same result. Not one "well done lads" or even "3 lucky points".
Now I know nowt about you, so apologies if you were on holiday, dealing with a bereavement, medical emergency or your Mum hadnt paid your phone bill, none of my business.
However, I am calling you out? Why do you only post when we lose (and post many times). Do you have a grudge against my club? Are you one of the "I told you so" pr1cks found all over twitter.
Just intrigued. Alf for instance states clearly what his issues are with the club. But not just when we lose. More and more his very early appraisal of the clubs leadership is looking worryingly accurate and whilst I may not agree with him all the time I respect his balanced view. He also posted when we win for instance.
So please enlighten me as I am intrigued. What is it?
Disclaimer: If Widdow is (as some suspect) a pre-pubescent school kid, I take this all back and apologise. Get back on Fifa or whatever and win the Champions League for 10th consecutive season with Forest. Be sure to explain to Chris Hughton how it's done as his Championship experience clearly holds no gravitas.....
