So far we have 12 points in 7 CH games, which is 1.71 pts per game, which is usually enough for a playoff spot. But that is for 46 games not 42.
42x1.71 =71.82 which is actually more points than we got last season. But last season was the lowest 6th place total since 2012/13.
It's far to early to completely rule out making a claim for the playoffs, there are still lots of questions to be answered. CH has made a decent start, hopefully we can kick on.
Just looked at the 2010/11 season (we finished 6th on 75 points).
After 11 games we were on 13 points.
So even though we had a really dreadful first 4 games, we have pulled it around pretty impressively.
Performance wise I would still say we are only playing at about 5 out of 10.
We have loads of room for improvement.
Grabban, Lolley, Knockaert and Freeman are still in second gear.
Things can only get better IMO.
